Unlocking Sea Changes

Investing in frontier tech startups that optimize health and climate

 About

Shorewind Overview

“Sea changing” technologies introduce transformational innovations to make the world a better place. We believe everything relates back to how we operate or the effects human existence has had on the planet. We make Seed and Series A investments into companies that use science and tech to catalyze sea changes in health and climate. We also actively seek teams building frontier tech within other verticals.

Shorewind Philosophy

Shorewind is the cold rush of air you feel near the beach when you’re running, surfing, or training. It’s uncomfortable and can make it difficult to press on. This is like entrepreneurship - it's hard to persevere in the face of constant headwinds. We empower entrepreneurs to power through that discomfort and support them along their journeys.

Shorewind Approach

Our network is your network

We’ve built an advisory team and ecosystem of leaders from top universities, world-class founders, and successful later-stage investment funds. We leverage these deep industry connections to get our portfolio companies in front of key decision makers in the health and sustainability worlds.

We’re committed to you

We are entrepreneurs who back strong founders. We leverage our backgrounds in product building and business development to help you grow. Additionally, we’ve reserved a large portion of our fund for follow-on investment to support our companies throughout their entire life cycles.

Our Team

We are founders and investors, and we are obsessed with positively transforming human and environmental health.
